Starting my research and developing practical skills.

In order to begin my advanced portfolio in media, I will research the marketing campaign for the recently released film Battleship. I will look at all of the marketing methods used and how the trailer, posters and magazine covers maintained a Unique Selling Point, signified the genre and had similar stylistic traits. Then using the Film Education Website, I will have a go at devising my own trailer for the film employing my recently acquired knowledge about film marketing.
